Accumulate

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of accumulate.lol and your entry into competitions run on it. By entering, you accept these terms and the specific details published on the competition's own page. Please read them before you enter.

1. Who we are

Accumulate is operated by WinWink Ltd, company number 12711240, registered in England and Wales, at WinWink, 11 Laura Place, Bath, England, BA2 4BL, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). We are the promoter of every competition on this site. You can reach us at info@accumulate.lol.

2. Eligibility

Accumulate is open to entrants aged 18 or over, worldwide, wherever taking part is lawful.

You may only enter if both of the following are true:

  • it is lawful for you to take part in the country or jurisdiction where you live or are located; and
  • it is lawful for us to offer the competition and award the prize in that jurisdiction.

You are responsible for making sure your participation is lawful where you live. If you are unsure, do not enter. Accepting these terms does not override the laws that apply to you, and nothing on this site should be taken as confirmation that entry is lawful in your location.

We may exclude or block entrants from particular countries or regions, and we may refuse or cancel entries that do not meet these requirements. Residents of Indonesia may not enter, and entries from Indonesia will be refused or cancelled.

We may ask you to verify your age, identity, and location at any time, including before paying a prize. Our employees, contractors, and their immediate families may not enter.

3. Your account

You need an Accumulate account to enter, and the details on it must be accurate and your own. One account per person. Creating additional accounts to gain more entries, to get round an exclusion, or to obscure who you are is a breach of these terms, and we may void the entries and close the accounts involved.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account.

4. Entering a competition

Every entry costs £1. There is no bulk discount: buying a bundle gives you more entries at the same price each, not cheaper entries. The competition page shows the closing date and time, the current jackpot, and how the prize is calculated.

Entries are confirmed once payment has completed, and appear in your account with their entry numbers. An entry is only in the draw once it is paid and active. We may cancel entries where payment fails, is reversed, or is reasonably suspected to be fraudulent.

Once entries close for a competition, no further entries can be added by any route.

5. The free entry route

A genuine free entry route by post is available for every competition, on equal terms and with an equal chance of winning. No purchase is necessary. The address, the required wording, and the postal cut-off are set out on our Free Postal Entry page and on the competition page. Postal entries must arrive before the cut-off.

6. The prize

The prize is a single cash jackpot, paid to one winner.

  • The jackpot starts at a guaranteed minimum of £1,000, published on the competition page before entries open.
  • It grows by 50p for every £1 entry during the entry period.
  • There is no maximum. It stops growing when entries close and not before.
  • The final figure is fixed at the moment entries close, and that is the amount paid.
  • The prize is not rolled over, carried forward, split between entrants, or reduced if entry numbers are low. Every draw pays out in full to one winner.

The prize is cash. There is no alternative prize, and no part of it is paid in goods, credit, or entries.

7. The draw

Before entries open, we generate a random 128-bit seed and publish a cryptographic hash of it. That hash is fixed publicly before any entry exists. When entries close, we publish the seed, and the winning entry is determined by seed mod total active entries. Anyone can repeat the calculation from the published figures and confirm that the published seed matches the hash committed beforehand.

Entries that have been refunded, cancelled, or voided are excluded from the count. The result of the draw is final.

8. Winners and payment

We contact the winner using the email address on their account, normally within 24 hours of the draw, and publish the winning entry number and the verification data on the site.

Before paying, we verify the winner's identity, age, and eligibility. Payment is made by bank transfer to an account in the winner's own name, normally within 14 days of that verification completing. We do not pay prizes to third parties.

If we cannot make contact, or verification is not completed, within 90 days of the draw, we may treat the prize as unclaimed. In that case we will award it by a further draw among the remaining valid entries and publish how that draw was made. A re-draw is a separate event from the original: the seed and hash published for the original draw prove the original result only.

Winners may be identified publicly by first name and county or country only, unless they agree to more. We will never publish your full address, email, or contact details.

9. Refunds and cancellation

Entries into a prize competition are not covered by the usual 14-day online cancellation right, so you cannot simply change your mind once an entry is confirmed. Please check your order before you pay.

We do refund in some cases: if we cancel a competition before the draw, if we cancel your entries because you turned out not to be eligible to enter (for example you are under 18, or in an excluded jurisdiction), or if a payment was taken in error. A refunded entry is removed from the draw and from the jackpot.

If we cancel a competition before the draw, every paid entry into it is refunded in full to the original payment method. If we void your entries for a breach of these terms, we may withhold a refund.

If you believe an entry was made in error or without your permission, contact us at info@accumulate.lol as soon as possible and we will look into it.

10. Things you must not do

  • Use multiple or false accounts, or another person's payment details.
  • Automate entry, or use scripts, bots, or scraping against the site.
  • Attempt to interfere with the draw, the seed, the entry numbering, or any other entrant's participation.
  • Enter from, or on behalf of someone in, a jurisdiction where entry is not permitted.
  • Use the site for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close accounts, void entries, and withhold prizes where these terms are breached.

11. Responsible play

You can block your own account from entering at any time - see our Responsible Play page. We will act on a self-exclusion request promptly, and we will not send marketing to an excluded account.

12. Our responsibility

We run the site and the competitions with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for entries that fail to reach us, for problems caused by your device or connection, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid in entries for the competition concerned.

13. Data

We handle your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy. Entering means you accept how we use it there.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published at the time you entered governs that entry. Material changes will be flagged on the site.

15. Complaints

If something has gone wrong, email info@accumulate.lol with your account email and what happened. We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days and resolve within 14.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere, this does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of your own country.
